CLES Trunk or Treat & CHS Spooktacular

Location: Centennial High School

THIS IS NOT a DROP OFF EVENT -- all children attending tonight's events MUST be accompanied by an adult who is present with them at all times. 

PARKING

Please park in the CHS main parking lot, or the BMMS parking lot (do NOT park in the front of the school in the bus loop, as that is reserved for trunk-or-treat vehicles ONLY)

There is a girls volleyball playoff game (CHS vs. Catonsville) at the high school starting at 5:00PM tonight - because of this, the parking lot may be crowded, and if the game ends early, many cars will be leaving while you are arriving, so please TAKE CAUTION, and DRIVE SLOW and escort your children safely across the parking lot using the pedestrian walkways and sidewalks.

ENTRANCE

Please ONLY enter the CHS building through the FRONT ENTRANCE (facing Centennial Lane) as the volleyball game attendees will only be using the side door over by the gymnasium.

CLES PTA Trunk-Or-Treat will be 6:30-7:30pm (one hour only)

  • Location is the CHS Bus Loop Parking Lot (directly in front of the CHS building) -- this area will be roped off until 6:30pm so please do not let your children begin trunk-or-treating until 6:30pm

  • Come early and do the indoor Spooktacular event first (starts at 6PM -- see below), or stay late and do the Spooktacular event after you trunk-or-treat (Spooktacular is open until 8:00pm - see below)

  • VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN: If you are able to help out with any tasks for a 30-minute shift, please stop by the PTA Table in the front lobby to check-in and see if we need additional help. We definitely need help with crowd control for safety, to monitor outside by the cars during the event.

  • COSTUME CONTEST:  If you would like to enter the CLES PTA Costume Contest, please come into the front lobby and get your picture taken at the photo booth, and fill out the entry form. Winners will be announced at school on Friday, and many awards will be given out for all categories and grade levels -- Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Family Costume -- so be sure to enter the contest!!!

  • BEST TRUNK AWARD -- be sure to VOTE for your favorite trunk or treat display -- cast your ballot in the ballot box at the PTA Info Table anytime between 6:30pm and 7:45PM

  • PHOTO BOOTH - come take a pic together with friends, or as a family, or individual -- maybe Splash the Dolphin will even join you.... Photo booth is inside the front lobby, next to the PTA Info Table

  • PTA Info Table - stop by the front lobby CLES PTA Info Table to learn about upcoming PTA events and more!!!

CHS Spooktacular Event will be 6:00-8:00(last for two hours)

  • location is the CHS Cafeteria with the ticket sales/ticket check-in table in the front lobby, right outside the cafeteria

  • tickets are $5 per child (adults enter free, and must accompany children)

  • haunted house is in a smaller room, at the back of the cafeteria -- parents should use discretion in whether their kid can handle the haunted house, and you can tell the volunteers what level of "scary" your kids want to endure

  • pumpkin painting and decorating, face painting, and fun activities for kids

  • toddler tunnel - little kids can have fun in their own spooky tunnel (not so spooky)

  • this is a fundraiser for the CHS Class of 2027 Leadership Board

  • Tickets can be pre-purchased online, purchased at the door for $5 cash, or purchased at the door online

  • CARVED PUMPKIN CONTEST -- bring your carved pumpkin to enter the contest, sponsored by the CHS National Art Honor Society. It is $5 entry fee, and then you could win a BIG PRIZE BASKET!!!!

CLES students and families are invited to the CLES PTA’s annual Trunk-Or-Treat Family Heritage Event, to be held this year in combination with Centennial High School’s Spooktacular Event.

WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Centennial High School (parking lot & cafeteria) at 4300 Centennial Lane

WHO: All CLES students, families, friends, neighbors

WHAT: Join in one or more of these fun & festive activities:

6:30-7:30 p.m. Trunk-or-Treat - FREE to all (sponsored by CLES PTA) - kids (age 12 & under) visit festive displays for prizes & treats.

6:00-8:00 p.m. Spooktacular - Haunted house, kids crafts, fun activities (sponsored by CHS Class of 2027 Leadership Board). Tickets are $5 per child (purchase in advance here or at door - adults are free, but should accompany children - this is NOT a drop-off event).

Costume Contest for all CLES students & families - Prizes for individual, group, and best family costumes. Enter the contest at the photo booth in the CHS front lobby.
