Guidelines & Registration Policy ***
The CLES PTA will be sponsoring
writing after school enrichment class. Students will study
writing technique and focus on
mastering short responses. Attention will also be given to
comprehension skills in reading and “pulling apart” what
is being asked in a question. Your student will have a better
understanding of the short written response and will write
for success!
The instructors for this class
are Mrs. Melanie Johnson and Mrs. Amanda Whittimore. Writing
for Success is open to
students attending CLES in grade 3 only (15 student limit).
This class will be five weeks in length. The class will be
held on Tuesday’s from 3:35 pm to 4:35 pm. The price
for this class is $60.00. Please make checks payable to CLES
PTA.
***Class dates: 1/8/08, 1/15, 1/22, 2/5, and 2/19.
Registration for this class will begin with a CLES PTA
Member priority registration on 12/28/07. Membership priority
registration will end on 1/2/08. If there is still space
available registration will continue
for all CLES families until 1/4/08. Notice will be sent
via eSchool newsletter.
The instructors for this class
are willing to also offer a second class on the same days
but from 4:40 pm to 5:40
pm. It is expected that this class offering will fill quickly.
If you are able and willing to attend a class on Tuesday’s
at this time please make this known at the time of registration.
