Yes, that is right fun with math!
This after school class is sponsored by the CLES PTA. This
class will utilize fun activities to enhance math skills.
Some curriculum objectives that will be focused on include
money, measurement, fractions, geometry, addition, subtraction,
and multiplication. Activities include games, computers,
shopping, cooking… just to name a few.
The instructors for this class
are Mrs. Melanie Johnson and Mrs. Amanda Whittimore. Fun
With Math is open to students
attending CLES in grades 1-2 only (25 student limit). This
class will be five weeks in length. The class will be held
on Tuesday’s from 3:35 pm to 4:35 pm. The price for
this class is $65.00 which includes a non-refundable materials
fee of $5.00. Please make checks payable to CLES PTA.
***Class dates are 2/26/08, 3/4, 3/11, 3/25, and 4/1.
Registration for this class will
begin with a CLES PTA Member priority registration on 2/4/08.
Membership
priority registration will end on 2/8/08. If there is still
space available registration will continue for all CLES families
until 2/19/08. Notice will be sent via eSchool newsletter.
