Dear Families:

The National Parent Teacher Association is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children. The PTA of Centennial Lane Elementary, as an extension of the national mission, is pleased to present the following guide to help support the needs of your family. In no way is this an exhaustive list of all that is available, but hopefully enough to get you started on your search for information. The Childcare Resource Center provides a variety of services and information including how to find childcare including a service to help families of children with disabilities find childcare, how to interview providers and a listing of childcare providers.

The Howard County Local Children’s Board works in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Children, Youth and Families to ensure children grow up healthy, secure and successful. The Board provides funding, planning, program development and implementation, and technical assistance to programs and services working to improve outcomes for Howard County’s children.
